Michael Marcus at Warriors comics in Wayne- showed gaming prowess.
Michael Marcus was at the comic Shop in Wayne Michigan on Saturday June 26 from 9am- 9pm showing off his own game- Sudoku Tactics (ST)at the signer during games day at Warriors Comics on Michigan Avenue- He was autographing IFX comics as well as promoting his own games ST. It was well received. Michael urged Pat Jackson to talk to the Owner of the store and suggested a Detroit Tradecraft signing day- perhaps in August once we get The Door Book 2 completed. Great work Michael....

****************************************************************
Gerald Walker and Marco Evans at Black AGE comics day in Detroit - Detroit tradecraft represented.
Teon and Marco represented Detroit Tradecraft at the Nsorama Academy School in Detroit. The Convention was a small intimate setting even that boasted comics, hip hop, and African based vendor products such as DVD's, apparel, and jewelry. The organizers expressed several times how gratedful they were for Detroit tradecraft for coming out and representing as they did. Teon and Marco presented their Filmworks promo magazine to the crowd- and I will give credit again to Michael Marcus- I could see a bit of his salesmanship in Teons and Marco's presentation to the crowd.- they sold a lot of copies of Filmworks, the Door book 1 and some FX mulrooneys......

Detroit tradecraft at MotorCity

We did it- we presented "The Door" book 1-Comic to Motor City convention that happened May 13-15 2011-at the Suburban Collections Showplace (formerly rock Financial Convention center) in Novi, Mi and it was by any other words- REAL FUN!!! here is a pic of the cover. Its List price is 2.99 and we will begin to determine distribution to the retailers in our June 11 meeting. We will be working with condensed planning to present the conclusion of "The Door" Book2 for the Detroit Fan fare on September 24-25 at Cobo Hall Convention center in Detroit, Mi. Detroit Motor City convention was Detroit Tradecraft's re-launch as a a rejuvenated collaborative group of artists and writers and we worked hard to share booth costs and show ourselves and a unified front. The experience was extremely beneficial to all that attended and we hope more will get involve for the Detroit fan fare. After the September event Detroit Tradecraft will see where we go from there- so stay tuned comic lovers
